About Leigh B Taylor
I am an award-winning photographer based in Cincinnati, Ohio. For the past 20 years, I’ve photographed everything from the mountains of Peru to family portraits to Presidential campaigns, and everything in between.
I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and worked for 11 years as a staff photographer at the “Cincinnati Enquirer”, a position that I dreamed of getting as a child. Before working for the Enquirer, I received a Masters degree in Visual Communication from Ohio University. In addition to my work appearing in the newspaper, I have also photographed for national publications, including The New York Times, National Geographic and many others. My passions are traveling the world, taking photos, eating lots of spicy food, meeting new people, and finding gorgeous light.
I am married and have two teenagers and two golden doodles. I believe that photography is about catching moments and finding beautiful places. My work is available to buy in various sizes and on different mediums. I am also available for hire, whether it be photographing a family portrait, a wedding, or for an organization or publication.

Testimonials
“As a photo editor, it was always a worry free day when sending Leigh on assignment. Leigh’s intelligent communications from location back to the desk were always clear and brief, as she understood what was needed, without sacrificing her own vision. Leigh’s quick study of the environment around her, even when challenged by time or circumstance, always culminated with excellent imagery. To sum it up, Leigh understands what is needed on assignment, how to execute the technical aspects of photography but all the while applying a contemporary eye to meet a pleasing visual outcome.” –Craig Ruttle, Photojournalist and Photo Editor
“It has been a pleasure of working with Leigh on several photo assignments for Haverford College. We loved her work so much that she has become our official family photographer! She captures the energy of my youngest and the “coolness” of my teenager in every shot. Our photo sessions are always pleasant, we get our images back quickly and she never disappoints!” –Missy Gish
